Terms of Service — Lumora

By downloading, installing, or using the Lumora iOS application (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Lumora generates personalized AI manifestation stories, meditations, affirmations, and ambient sound mixes. The App is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country, whichever is higher) to use Lumora. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account

To access most features you must sign in with Apple, Google, or anonymously. You are responsible for the security of the credentials you use to access your account.

4. Subscriptions & payment

4.1 Plans

Lumora offers auto-renewing subscriptions (Weekly / Yearly) and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Actual prices, trial lengths, and offers are shown inside the App at the point of purchase and are billed by Apple in your local currency.

4.2 Free trial

If a free trial is available on your plan, it starts the moment your purchase is confirmed. Your paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

4.3 Auto-renewal

All auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. To cancel, open iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Lumora → Cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current period; no partial refunds are issued.

4.4 Refunds

All payments are handled by Apple and refunds are subject to Apple’s refund policy at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/. Lumora cannot issue refunds directly.

4.5 Price changes

We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice via in-app message. If you do not accept a price change, cancel before it takes effect.

5. AI-generated content disclaimer

Lumora uses AI to generate manifestation stories, meditations, and affirmations personalized to your answers.

• Content is inspirational and educational. It is NOT medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.
• Lumora is not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment, or any professional advice.
• Manifestation claims are drawn from law-of-attraction traditions and are not guaranteed to produce material results. Outcomes depend on many factors outside the App’s control.
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact a licensed professional or a local crisis line immediately. Lumora is not an emergency service.

6. Your content

Anything you type into the App (intentions, goals, custom prompts, gratitude entries) is your content. You retain ownership. You grant Lumora a limited license to process your content solely to generate the audio/text output you request.

7. Generated content license

The stories and audio files generated for you are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may:

• Listen to them offline, share them privately with friends.

You may not:

• Republish them for commercial gain.
• Claim them as your own original work.
• Use them to train competing AI models.

8. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes or to harass others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code.
• Submit prompts designed to produce harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
• Resell access to the App or its generated content.
• Circumvent payment, paywalls, or subscription gating.

Violating these rules may result in account termination without refund.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, and brand (“Lumora”, logo, marketing copy) are owned by Isa Mercan and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use only.

10. Availability

We strive for high uptime but make no guarantees. The App depends on third-party services (Firebase, Apple, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, RevenueCat) and may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or outages of those services.

11. Termination

You may stop using Lumora at any time by deleting your account in Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends and any outstanding subscription follows its normal billing cycle to expiry.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumora and Isa Mercan will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to Lumora in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app with at least 14 days’ notice before they take effect. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Apple-specific terms

Per Apple’s App Store requirements:

• This agreement is between you and Lumora, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App.
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
• In the event of a product warranty failure, Apple will refund the purchase price; any further claims are Lumora’s responsibility.
